The process involved in crushing large size iron ores into different size of crushed iron ores depending upon the requirements in the demand sectors. The important stages involved in iron ore crushing activity are primary crushing, screening, secondary/tertiary crusher, screening, and conveyance, storage of raw boulders and crushed iron ore and transportation of crushed iron ores.
The raw material is obtained from mining of the iron ore from quarries and hand picking etc. The block materials will be sent into jaw crusher evenly through vibrating feeder for the first crushing process. Under the function of jaw crusher, the materials will be broken into small size. Belt conveyor will take the crushed materials into cone crusher or impact crusher for the secondary crushing stage.
The secondary crushing machine will break the materials into fine size. Vibrating screen will separate the unsuitable size materials from the fine size ones and then belt conveyor will take them materials back to the crusher for breaking again. This process will continue till all the materials are in fine size or ultrafine size. According to the different weight, gravity separator will separate the undesired materials from iron ore. Because iron has magnetism, magnetic separator will separate the non-magnetism materials. Then the high grade and pure iron ore can get.
